Rory is a London-based
saxophonist , pianist and
arranger / composer / director
with a background in jazz and
improvised music.
Raised in Stroud (south-west
England), Rory was brought up
on a diet of Celtic folk, musical
theatre and jazz. He wrote his
first songs age eight, took up
piano age nine, saxophone age
eleven,clarinet age sixteen and
flute age eighteen.
After graduating with distinction
in saxophone from the Royal
Northern College of Music in
2009 as second recipient of the
Martyn Edwards Scholarship for
Jazz, Rory has enjoyed a busy
freelance career performing with
his own band and working with
various projects, appearing at
events (private & corporate)
venues and festivals throughout
the UK.
