A real testament to Miles' talent came about when Miles entered a major T.V. Talent competition, ‘This is my moment’, hosted by Spice Girl Melanie B. He delivered a beautiful and soulful rendition of Eric Clapton’s ‘Wonderful tonight’ and eventually won his way through to the final which was broadcasted live on Granada T.V. at peak viewing time.
The outcome of the live public phone vote proved to be an overwhelming and staggering victory with Miles taking more than 50% of the combined voting between all the finalists.
He has since worked with some very credible artists over the years, including Alexander O’Neal, Russell Watson and Jocelyn Brown, ‘Kool and the Gang’s J.T. Taylor and Soul Diva, Gwen Guthrie.
More recently, Miles was invited to perform at the first ‘Jazz Festival’ in Casablanca, again finding himself in good company singing alongside Grammy nominee Jazz keyboardist Jason Miles, who has in recent years worked with some of the greats, namely Luther Van Dross and Chaka Khan amongst many others. Miles played to a 1,000 seat capacity crowd at the theatre ‘Megarama’. The show was received with a standing ovation. The show’s success was echoed through credible music magazines from the U.K. To the U.S.A
Miles continues to make a name for himself within the Music Industry and is now diversifying his love of singing to performing at Weddings, Corporate Events and Parties where he exercises his unquestionable passion for singing live and reaching out to his audiences throughout the U.K and beyond.
