Rhydian Roberts, popularly known as Rhydian, is the classically trained Welsh baritone who first came to the public's attention through his spellbinding performances on X Factor.
His first album, entitled 'Rhydian', went double platinum and his second, 'O Fortuna', was nominated in the Classical BRITS for Best Album of the Year 2010. Rhydian's repertoire draws on every genre and style; the high energy pop & rock of 'Go West' and 'Somebody To Love'; the heart-stirring musical theatre of 'Somewhere' and 'The Impossible Dream'; the classical purity of 'Benedictus' and 'Adiemus' to the very Welsh 'Myfanwy' and 'Yma O Hyd'.
Rhydian also starred in a major arena tour of The War of the Worlds - Alive On Stage!
Rhydian has become known for the power and sensitivity of his voice, for passion which captivates and for performances so exhilarating they leave his audience entranced.
Rhydian is currently starring in the UK tour of We Will Rock You and his third album is due for release by conehead records in June

The internationally acclaimed Pendyrus Male Choir have performed worldwide, apart from gracing the stages of many famous opera houses and concert halls from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, U.S.A. to the centre’s of culture throughout Europe, including Moscow, Strasburg, and Berlin, They are the only Welsh choral organisation to be invited to perform at the White House in Washington, The Kremlin in Moscow and the United Nations Building in New York. With all this globetrotting they have worked for, and on behalf of theatrical and operatic agencies in many lands including UK. Their most recent production at home was with the superb performer, Rhydian Roberts, introduced to Pendyrus and their concert arm, Rhondda Fach Music Partnership, by Nicola Loyden of Garston Entertainment, her help and guidance in promoting this now biggest annual cultural event to be staged in Rhondda, has been exceptional, her and her team have guided our organisation through to what was a musical extravaganza, appreciated by a sell out audience.
