Mister K is a Superb Five Piece Party Band, Ideal Entertainment For Weddings, Corporate Events, Private Parties, Functions and More.
Mister K is a highly experienced, fun loving and professional band who have been playing music together since 2006 years.
The band provide the kind of entertainment that leaves everyone from young kids to senior citizens with huge grins on their faces, feverishly demanding “MORE!!!” As 5 friends with so many shared experiences we have crazy amounts of fun playing together, and our audiences can’t help but feel part of the action.
Mister K have provided first class entertainment for a variety of a events. From a gentle afternoon acoustic set in the serene Welsh Hill, to 21st birthday parties where the guests don't want them to stop so they perform an extra set at 3am.
They have played countless first dances, each one a special memory. Those when the bride and groom have secretly rehearsed for weeks, performing majestically as one with the band, leaving everyone astounded – fathers clasping hands and mothers crying tears of joy. Then there’s those when the panick-stricken groom beckons all his mates to join him on stage, just after the intro.
They’ve played Sunday afternoon river cruises on the Thames, flanked by tranquil Oxfordshire countryside. They've played Saturday nights in pubs where the revelry is so intense, and so much flesh is visible on the dance floor, that bouncers have had to intervene. All the while the band plays on. Mister K always deliver, whatever the time or place.
The Mister K lineup of vocals, dual guitars, bass and drums gives us a pure, live, energetic, rocking sound. What you don’t get from Mr K is anything fake – no cheesy strings, no synth brass, and never any pre-recorded backing tracks. What you see is what you get – highly talented musicians using premium level instruments and equipment, covering songs from the 50s to today with their own style and sound. Even if we play a song note for note, down to the last semiquaver in the last bar of the guitar solo, we will always sound like Mister K.
Our repertoire is mostly comprised of rock and pop, rather than funk, soul, or Motown. Mister K are never likely to play “We Are Family”, “Celebrate” or “Car Wash”. There are hundreds of bands out there who will play that stuff and if that’s what you’re after, fair enough. We know from hundreds of gigs experience that our repertoire will keep the dance floor rammed, and our clients happy in the knowledge that their guests are having the time of their lives.
As all weddings and parties are different we usually offer bespoke packages from brides, grooms and party people. We can include everything you need to start the party and finish it. Including PA, stage and mood lighting, pre-requested disco packages, special requested songs in either style, vintage styled sets and more.
Make our wedding or event a night to remember and contact Garston today for more information.

You performed for us at our wedding at the Marriott in Bournemouth, and we wanted to thank you all! Everyone at the wedding was blown away by how good you were - it was a real highlight of the day!! The first dance song was amazing - you nailed it! It was a real mix of songs - the perfect combination to get people dancing - and keep them on the dance floor till the end! And the inclusion of a couple of foo fighters songs (as a special last minute request by me) really made the night even more special. I know there are a million bands for people to choose from, but we wont have any hesitation recommending you - and will look for a good opportunity to hire you again, if you want us to speak to anyone to recommend you personally then please let me know
You had everyone on their feet non-stop, and everyone commented on what a fantastic performance you gave. I actually fractured my rib two days before the wedding, but I couldn’t stop dancing cos every song was perfect and there was never one I felt I could sit out. I wasn’t the only one who couldn’t get enough, from aged 2 to 82 all of our guests really enjoyed your music and had a fantastic time. I can’t believe you learnt our first dance in less than a week – thank you so much! It was amazing and so much better to have it performed live by you guys. We’ve already had a couple of friends asking for your details for future events, and we would certainly highly recommend you to anyone we know looking for amazing live music. I hope you enjoyed the evening too, we really had the most fantastic time.
I just wanted to say a big thank you to Mr K, they were fabulous and lots of people commented about how great the lead singer was. If I am organising another function I think we will use them again! Great variety of songs and they fitted the occasion really well.
We have had so many comments about how wonderfully the band played. So many guests said they hadn’t danced as much for years. It really made the evening and we were absolutely delighted. Quite how you managed to please an age range from 18 to 80 is quite astonishing.
