Black Orchid Jazz Quartet is a group of top London-based jazz musicians featuring a regular quartet line-up of singer, piano, drums and double bass.
The band are also available in smaller or bigger line-ups depending on your event. With a wide repertoire of music available, they perform music from traditional swing or Latin, to upbeat jazz arrangements of modern hits.
The band members are all well-experienced and passionate performers with a busy schedule ranging from weddings and birthday parties to concerts and corporate events.
The band are equipped with a full PA system and lights and are also covered by public liability insurance.
With an ever expanding library of tunes, they can provide sophisticatedbackground jazz for a dinner or can introduce upbeat jazz numbers to dance the night away for your wedding or party! Special requests can be learnt if the band are informed beforehand – perfect for that first dance or memorable favourite you might have.

We had this excellent band play for us in the French restaurant whilst guests ate dinner and they provided just the right ambience we were looking for. We will certainly look into having them perform for us again in the future.
We have these guys come play for us on a regular basis as they are always a hit with our customers, and are able to provide just the right kind of sound for our venue.
Huge thanks to the band who played at our Gatsby party - they were fantastic, very professional, and excellent value for money. Everyone said they were the icing on the cake; Sophie's voice was stunning, and thetiming was excellent. So so pleased with our choice - we would definitely book them again, and have no hesitation recommending them.
